Missions and Outreach
Serving in Jesus' name is a natural progression in the life of faith. As we grow closer to God, we naturally want to reach out and serve people in need. The Holy Spirit, if we let Him, will guide and direct that process. We believe that people serve most effectively when they serve out of their own unique spiritual gift mix and in the areas where they have passion. Just as Jesus has called 'some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, somepastors and teachers,' (Ephesians 4:11), Jesus has called each of us to use our hands and hearts to seve in different ways: feeding the hungry, visiting the lonely, caring the sick, helping the poor, teaching and mentoring children and youth.
So how is God calling you to serve? We have multiple ministries and partners that serve as venues for our missions and outreach ministries. See just some of them below. For answer to further questions, or to find out more ways you can serve as a disciple of Jesus, email Missions Team leaders Annie Johnson at johson5972@comcast.net or Associate Pator, Nako Kellum, at nkellum@capecoralfirst.org.
